Your child's first visit will be an exciting and fun experience. Whether your child enjoys our nursery, gets involved with the City kids (toddlers), or becomes a part in children's church (ages 1st-6th grade) you will find that we have a class for everyone at GBC.

Our nursery is equipped to give babies the opportunity to be babies in a clean and safe environment. The ages of children in our nursery are from 0yrs - 2yrs. We believe that as a first time visitor or a long time member you should be able to enjoy the services, and worship God, not worrying about the care of your child. It is for that reason that we have taken extra precautions in the area of our nursery. Each one of our nursery workers have had a background check by the state and are made up of the members of Glendale Baptist Church. These workers have also been trained to handle your baby with the care of a mother's touch. Your child will be in good hands with our staff. Nursery begins every Sunday morning at 9:45a.m. and continues through the morning worship service.

In City kids (toddlers ages: 3 - K5) their time will be filled with singing, story time, crafts about the lesson, laughing at puppets, and having fun while learning a Bible lesson. They will also have papers for the fridge they take home and a praise report on how their day went in class. This praise report gives you the parent the opportunity to help them continue the lesson at home. We are about having fun but at this age we believe they can have fun learning truths about the savior. City kids begins every Sunday morning at 9:45 and continues through the morning worship service.

Children's Church is a great opportunity for youth to have Bible study in a way that is understandable to them. In Children's Church your child will be having fun learning about God's word with other young people their age.

 

Imagine middle school and high schoolers from all over the Glendale and NYC area gathering together to celebrate their relationship with Jesus Christ. That is what the youth ministry at Glendale Baptist Church is all about. At Glendale Baptist we are striving to see our youth be connected to God through a relationship with Him. Connected to other youth through the ministry here in our church. Connected to the mission by serving in the church and in the community to share the love of Jesus Christ.
